Pallabi Saboo is the Chief Executive Officer for Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC. She has an extensive track record of building and operating successful technology and technology related services companies. She acquired Harmonia in 2006 and since then has grown it aggressively as it seeks to develop specialized technologies and technology-enabled services geared toward the federal and commercial sectors. She is an entrepreneur with a unique understanding of technology as well as business and strategic issues.
Among her many honors, Ms. Saboo was named one of the winners of the 2014 Federal 100, an award made to government, industry and academic leaders who have played pivotal roles that affect how the federal government acquires, develops, and manages IT. She was named in the top 25 female CEOs in the Washington, D.C. area by SmartCEO Magazine in 2008; this award is part of Smart CEO’s Bravo Business Achievement program which honors women who have successfully grown their businesses while remaining active in their communities. She was named to the Washington SmartCEO Smart100 (2009), an exclusive group of 100 CEOs assembled by an independent selection committee based on his or her leadership, strategic vision, and character.
Under her leadership, Harmonia has enjoyed many honors. In 2007 and 2013, Harmonia received the prestigious Tibbetts Award, made to firms judged to exemplify the very best in SBIR achievement and transition. Harmonia was recognized among the ’12 to Watch’ small businesses in Virginia and named a GovStar ‘Technical Trailblazer’ federal contractor (2011), included among the Fast 50 Asian American Businesses (2013), and a winner of the Inc Hire Power Award (2013). Harmonia has been included in the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing companies for 6 consecutive years (2009 – 2014).
Ms. Saboo is an electrical engineer and has an MBA, with a specialization in marketing, from Virginia Tech, where she was awarded a Cunningham Fellowship. The University has also honored her as a distinguished alumnus and member of the Ut Prosim Society. Ms. Saboo continues to serve as a member of the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority Board, an honor she has uniquely held under both Democratic and Republican governors. Ms. Saboo is Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation and remains active in several community outreach programs.
