In the past three decades, there has been an explosive growth in the number of South Asian American entrepreneurs, who have created tens of millions of jobs and new economic opportunities across America. Some of the companies launched and led by Americans of South Asian origin have gone on to become billion-dollar enterprises. The extraordinary successes of entrepreneurs such as Vinod Khosla, Romesh Wadhwani, Shahid Khan and Manoj Bhargava are well-documented.
The American Bazaar Entrepreneurs’ Summit, which will be held in Washington, DC, on April 25, 2015, will provide a platform for budding and early-stage entrepreneurs to mix with and learn from men and women who have created enormous wealth through entrepreneurship.
Speakers will include business stalwarts, CEOs, and executives from small, midsized, and large companies. The keynote will be delivered by Kanika Dewan, founder of Ka Design Atelier and president of the Bahrain-based Bramco Group of Companies and the person responsible for all the stone works of the two largest airport projects in India: the Terminal 3 at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and the new Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai.
